This city is always shining with energy and countless activities, but if you want to escape that for a little bit and seek out a quiet place, visit the Cosmo Planetarium in Shibuya!
The Cosmo Planetarium is a very modern and popular attraction and replaced the old Gotoh Planetarium when it opened in 2010. The Gotoh Planetarium was also a popular spot during about 40 year existence. The planetarium has now one of the newest projectors and the CG technology. As a result, it’s a real cosmos viewing experience, that’s completely wonderful.
About the tickets, you can get at the machine in the entrance hall quite easily and it’s only 600yen for adults (300yen for kids). Currently they are offering around 4 different programs and each of them is shown at a special time. The 4pm show offers an hour viewing and explanation about comets. Their programs are start every 2 hours usually and there is a 20 minute explanation during the viewing. At the last moment of the show, it is felt you real adventure and you could fly through the universe like a cosmonaut.
