Yebisu Garden Place, one of the landmarks of the Shibuya area, is an urban oasis that overflows with water and green. The nearest station is Ebisu Station on the Yamanote Line, the Saikyo Line, the Shonan-Shinjuku Line and the Tokyo Metro Hibiya Line. There is a covered passageway linking Ebisu Station with Yebisu Garden Place called Yebisu Skywalk, though the walk outside is pleasant enough.
Yebis Garden Place, featuring a wide range of stores including shops and restaurants and focused on the Yebisu Garden Place Tower and Mitsukoshi, this composite is also home to the Westin Hotel Tokyo, Tokyo Metropolitan Museum of Photography, and Museum of Yebisu Beer. The area’s fashionable streets are a famous filming location that has appeared in many television programs.
The Central Square has a beautiful arch over a sloped promenade which leads from the entrance at Marionette Clock Square to Chateau Square, with its cobble stones and French chateau, no less. Quieter spots include Yebisu Shrine and Sapporo Square – which is, in fact, an English-style garden. The 40-story, 167m-tall Yebisu Garden Place Tower dominates the skyline and has some excellent restaurants and bars with fine views over Tokyo. The Yebisu Garden Place Tower has a free observation deck.
Yebisu Garden Place’s attractions include the wonderful Yebisu Beer Museum, where visitors can join a tour to learn the history of the beer. The Beer Station restaurant, on your right as you enter from the Yebisu Sky Walk, serves Yebisu beer and tasty western-style food which will be perfect combination with beer. Here you can enjoy fresh beer even from noon time! Why don’t you try for your holiday? Please check it out!
