As soon as you arrive at the main entrance of Takeshita street, you will be mesmesrized by the crowd.
As you go through Takeshita street, you will see fashion boutiques, cafes and restaurants, a convenience store, Daiso (100-yen shop) and other tax-free shops. If you want to experience the famous purikura (photo sticker booth), it is available here too. With purikura, you will be able to edit your photos in various ways like making your eyes bigger and your mouth smaller, etc.

Here you will get to see the Kawaii culture. Basically, it refers to girls wearing cute fashionable clothes. Several of them wear bright and colorful clothes from head-to-toe. Oftentimes, they mix all fashion style together until they achieve a manga-inspired baby-doll dresses.
Harajuku has become world famous as Japan’s center of street fashion (KAWAII CAPITAL). Omotesando Hills (High-end fashion shop), Meiji Shrine, and Yoyogi Park are just a walking-distance from here, so don’t miss them.
