Loneliness no more in anti-loneliness cafes in Tokyo!
It has been said that the best place to visit if you’re single is Tokyo! It is true that a number of Japanese people remain single until the late age but it doesn’t mean they are lonely. Japan always has something to offer to single people out there and one of these are the Anti-loneliness cafes around the country. The most famous anti-loneliness café is the Moomin Bakery & Café which has some branches in and out of Tokyo. Moomin (the name of the character in the picture above) is always there to make sure you won’t be lonely.

These cafes prepare stuffed toys for solitary human beings on earth. As soon as you finish ordering, the cafe staff will put a stuffed toy right next to you or in front of you as if you are with somebody. Just like in the real world, you might have to wait in a queue before you can spend time with moomin especially on weekends and holidays but it’s always worth the wait. Stuffed toys are just there right beside you but will never disturb you while you are doing your own business.
