Are you looking for the place where you can enjoy with your family? Especially for small kids? Yes, there is great place for you! There is actually a zoo but also park and admission fee is for free!
Edogawa-ku is one of the residential areas in Tokyo and there are so many parks. The small and very nice zoo where is Edogawa Shizen Zoo is inside of the Gyosen park.
The Edogawa Shizen Zoo was opened in 1983 and it was the first municipal zoo in Tokyo. There is long history but not changing a lot since 1983, so you will feel very warm atmosphere. The zoo is loved by everyone as one where you can come into close contact with the animals. There are 550 animals of 60 different species, including red pandas and penguins. In the Fureai Corner (petting zoo), you can actually touch long-eared goats, guinea pigs, rabbits, roosters and more.
The zoo is quite popular with children still now. Since the zoo is surrounded by a park, it is also possible to play on playground equipment such as the giant slide. Your kids never get bored in here. Interesting? Please check it out!
