Tokyo is home to about 13 million people. Tokyo is an incredibly safe, efficient city with a low crime rate, the trains always running on time, and stores and restaurants providing everything you could possibly need. Tokyo is overwhelming at first but if you take your time and explore the city you will find a vibrant metropolis overflowing with many fascinating sights, sounds, and experiences. If you stay in Tokyo, you need a comfortable accommodation. There are so many hotels around but today, I would like to introduce the Ryokan style accommodation which has tatami rooms and sleeping with futon. Enjoy real Japanese style accommodation!
The place is located in Bunkyo Ward’s Hongo area, Taieikan once housed impoverished poet Takuboku Ishikawa for nine long months. This is a rather large establishment, boasting a total of 52 guest rooms, spread out over the main building and two additional buildings. There’s also two Japanese-style communal baths, both equipped with jets. The recently renovated main entrance hall is not the most charming, but the lobby provides nice views over the inner courtyard, where koi carp swim languidly in a pond.
Taieikan is located definitely very center in Tokyo, so quite comfortable for your sightseeing. Also the place is very close to Tokyo University. Interesting? Please check it out!
