Keio Takaosan Onsen is located near Takaosan , which is a mountain in Hajijo-city in Tokyo and the popular hiking spot. It takes for about 1hour from the center of Tokyo.
They have 7 different types of bath, such as an indoor Hinoki wood bathtab’s bath, a sauna bath and an open-air bath. The open-air bath is surrounded by nature, so you can feel the smell of nature, wide view and soft-touch hot water at the same time. It’s the wonderful way to relax you.
In the facility, there is Japanese style restaurant. You can fill yourself up after taking bath. The specialty dish there is ‘Tororo over rice’. Tororo is the Japanese sticky potato and often eaten raw. It has unique texture but goes well with rice. Tororo has been specialized in Takaosan traditionally, so it’s worth trying it. Other varietions such as Soba noodle, Sushi and snacks are available. There is even ‘Tatami area’ which is Japnese flooring mat, and you can take a nap.
