To all cat lovers. Cat Cafe is a new part of Japanese culture, and provides a healing space for cat lovers to interact with feline companions. Here, you have the opportunity to stroke cats, play with them, take photographs or just watch them sleeping together with drinking coffee, tea, whatever.

Cat cafes give people a chance to play with a few little furry friends for a while and, with over 40 established in Tokyo alone, they’ve discovered a huge niche. While cats probably have previously been abandoned by their owners, they are all completely domesticated and adorable, and are just the companions to energize and rejuvenate you. Relax, and unwind – you’re visiting friends! More than ten cats are looking forward to seeing you; some of them are even looking for foster parents I guess.

Today I recommend “Nekojyarara in Akihabara” where is very easy to be found.

The place is not so big, actually quite compact if compare to other cat cafes but there are many cats around.

ak-chi-be

Firstly, you enter into the first gated area, separate from the rest of the room to prevent escapes, and talk to a staff (get explanation of the rule) behind a bamboo cage. Then, pay some coffee, juce, tea…etc and you start hanging out with cats within a determined time. All of cats are very lovely, you will be healed for sure! Please check it out!
